“1-0 TO PLASTIC RECYCLING IN LIPTON’S NEW EUROS CAMPAIGN"

For the 2021 euros Lipton introduced a custom made hero cape. A limited edition kit made of 100% recycled Lipton bottles. Our task was to not only get people excited for the Lipton hero cape, but also activate them to recycle their own Lipton bottles more often. So for our campaign, we decided to 100% recycle one of the most iconic football moments in Dutch history: the flying Dutchman.

100% RECYCLED

In our film, Robin van Persie and his son recycled his own iconic goal. From the long pass, the flying dive, Casillas’ star struck face, the landing and ultimately the classic celebration with Van Gaal.

The hero shirt was promoted through our TVC, influencer partnerships and a social campaign. Because of popular demand it sold out at many Albert Heijn supermarkets around the Netherlands.
